I got the Wave for my 15 year-old daughter, hoping that she would give up the idea of skateboarding (it looks impossible to ride). Well, she had it figured out pretty quickly and so did my 10-year-old son. They wore out the first set of wheels in no time at all. I shopped around on the internet and found that this double set of replacement wheels was a pretty good deal. Buy two at a time, trust me.

After 3 months of riding his Wave Jr., my son had completely worn down the front wheel. I had ordered these a little while ago, when there was a nice price drop.
They work great! But the reason for the 4 stars…..it was quite difficult to get the bearings in the wheels. It took me about 20 min to half an hour to replace them, which should have only taken minutes. Had to use a hammer to get the bearings in…and I was sweating the fact that I might break them doing it that way. But there was no way my fingers were going to push those in. Don’t know why they don’t already come packaged ready to put on. You’re obviously going to use the new bearings…why aren’t they already in place?
